Emiliano Calabro, programming director of Argentina's Canal 26 TV channel, commended the role of the Global Video Media Forum (VMF) in building and strengthening alliances worldwide, and in providing a platform for the media world to discuss trends, evaluate issues and offer solutions, which is of great significance in an ever-evolving world.

Calabro was speaking in a video message to greet the opening of the 12th VMF held on Dec 3 and 4 in Quanzhou City of east China's Fujian Province under the theme "Intelligence Without Frontiers, Vision Beyond The Horizon -- Media's Role in Communication and Cultural Exchange."

Launched by CCTV Video News Agency (CCTV+) in 2011, the VMF focuses on the latest video content communication and innovation trends, and providing a highly specialized, unique and interactive platform for domestic and foreign media peers.
