Syrian newspaper eyes closer ties with CMG to benefit two peoples

Belal Deeb, director of Electronic and Visual Media at Syria's government-run Dar Al-Baath newspaper, said he always look forward to strengthening cooperation with the China Media Group (CMG) for the good of the two countries and peoples.

Deeb was speaking in a video message to greet the opening of the 12th Global Video Media Forum (VMF), held on Dec 3 and 4 in Quanzhou City of east China's Fujian Province, under the theme "Intelligence Without Frontiers, Vision Beyond The Horizon -- Media's Role in Communication and Cultural Exchange."

Launched in 2011 by the CCTV Video News Agency (CCTV+), a subsidiary of CMG, the VMF is an annual professional journalism forum focusing on the latest video content communication and innovation trends, and providing a highly specialized, unique and interactive platform for domestic and foreign media peers.
